"We recognise the positive contribution older people make to society. Older people should have the same rights and equality as all people."

Bringing generations togetherBringing generations together

Our new Inter-generational Project brings young and old together across the borough for a range of free activities. Have fun and learn new skills while finding out more about people from a different age group. Email Pamela Hatton or ring her on 020 8877 8942 (Mon-Weds).

  • Do you feel isolated at home?

Our Be-a-Friend service is for older people who live on their own and have difficulty getting out, and who would like more social contact in their home. For more information, call Melanie Southwell on 020 8877 8957.

  • The past year has been busy for Age Concern Wandsworth. We handled over 10,500 enquiries from older people in Wandsworth and launched three new projects in 2008/9. Click here to download our Annual Report 2008/9 (PDF 815Kb).
